Poster

This the poster I have come up with for our final piece trailer THE HAUNTED.

I used a black background and white writing for the majority of the poster along witha  black and white picture, but used bright red on the film title, mainly to help it stand out to the viewer or passer by.
I chose this picture becasue i think it doesnt say too much about the film and will help make the viewer or passer by want to know more about the film, but it alos looks spooky and misterious. This also links teh picture in the with the question i placed ont eh poster..."will you be able to sleep?" as again this is questioning the passer by or viewer.
I have also places the age certificate we have decided to place the film at as this will enable passers by to see who it is aimed at, and also this gives them a certain insight to what will be in teh film as certain age cirtificates contain certian things which gain them the rating.
Furthermore; I have also included the names of the cast and a director name to make the poster look more professional, as real film posters let the public know who is in the film adn who its produced by and edited etc.
The last thing i have included in the poster is some quotes from the press, magazines and even teh BBFC (British Board of film Classification). I doent his simply again to amke teh psoter look more professional and to give the film, in slang terms, some "hype". This is aimed at making the public more intrested in viewing the film when it is released.
